The law has failed to pass 2 times before but they are trying again, because Europol and all European intelligence agencies are heavily lobbying for it. Hell, even Ashton Kutcher is lobbying for it. This is worse than what China or Russia do. This is a hell of a lot more dystopian than America’s patriot act.
This arrest is only the beginning, privacy is being systematically outlawed in the EU and the US. And it’s not just a war on private messaging, they are slowly trying to get rid of cash, too
