Currently I have around 1.5 TB of Ortho mix of ZL16tiles and custom tiles with ZL17.19. I am using two SSD (1 TB each) right now, but am wondering if this maybe a waste of resource. I guess by the end of this Month I will have approx 6 TB of ortho , would a fast HDD be good enough for X-Plane ?или так
Cheapest solution is to get 2 x spinning disks and run them in Raid stripe (0). Currently running 2x 8TB drives. (16TB). No load issues. Europe + USA. Some tiles in South Americaну или вообще так
my nas is a 6 core [email protected] with 80GB of ssd4 memory. 4x4TB + 6x8TB = 50 TB available, ~~30 TB dedicated for orthos (22TB full now) , 1x 1 TB SSD as L2ARC dual 10 GBe interface
