I think that sanctions are an effective mechanism to punish ordinary citizens but they don't really do much else. Would Coca-Cola leaving Russia affect Putin's decisions (or the soldiers' morale) in any way? I don' think so. Would CD Projekt's decision to halt sales in Russia force Putin to stop?
