I am very sorry to say but if you are one of those who had their Gamepass Ultimate cancelled and refunded, it will mean you did not purchase the subscription legitimately.
Please see below for information regarding what happened.
"We’ve found a select number of memberships that were acquired through sources that are in violation of the Microsoft Services Agreement. Subscriptions must be purchased directly from Microsoft digital store or via verified third party retailers.”
With this being said, if it was not purchased through Xbox, you'll need to contact the seller as nothing can be done and the subscription will need to be purchased again but you can expect a refund within 3-5 days.
If you do not have access to the card that was used to purchase the game due to 3rd party sale, you'll need to do a chargeback with your bank as refunds had already been released.
