Sword from Germany from 1240 on display at the Deutsches Historisches Museum in Berlin
The sword, decorated with lion and eagle emblems, belonged to a high-ranking noble who had joined the Teutonic Knights, probably Konrad of Thuringen or one of the Dukes of Nassau.
