How good it is to know Russian

I realized that the most useful skill I have is knowledge of Russian. This is so awesome, you don’t have to wait for crap translations of games, and if the game is old, then even less English. You can go to the cinema in any CIS country and watch a film in Russian.

You can go to dtf and find the answer to any problem. You can read books without waiting for them to be translated. You can talk to an educated person in any country (and in the CIS even with homeless people) and they will all understand you and be able to carry on the conversation.

Thanks to the parents for forcing me, as a little kid, to take these extra classes with a Russian.
