Lander — Acid Jungle — 2026 full length
The second album of this duo from Seatle.
Unlike the fierce militant black metal seen on the EP “Heroic Lands” it expands on the last album, “Boreal Tatics” that brandished a more progressive look into black metal, detouring into psychedelic rock , death metal and blackgaze and even odd space ambient transitions. Here it even explores such oddities deeper. Even though the black metal parts remain fierce as before, it reaks of a black and roll swagger more strongly and even post black flourishes, which turn this definitely into a more unique concept and surely even less linear than Iron Firmament, which was already far from it and becoming closer to Circle of Ouroboros more aligned with its experimental traits.
